Yanchep Red Hawks Football Club 3 teams are Now Open! With the season of 2022, the Red Hawks will be celebrating 25 Years of football along with the 20 year reunion of our 2002 premiership win!! All applications are strictly confidential

The Yanchep Red Hawks Football Club wants to build on its 25th anniversary-year history and its accomplishments in the Perth Football League, we are seeking applicants with a strong belief in reward for effort and structured team football. The Yanchep Red Hawks Football Club is financially sound and provides great facilities and excellent support both on, and off the field, we pride ourselves on our strong culture of being family-friendly and all-inclusive, with a competitive spirit and tight community feel.

 

All applicants must have a willingness to work hand in hand with the Committee Team to achieve the club’s overall goals and help maintain a positive and competitive team environment.

 

This is a great opportunity for coaches to make an impact in the Yanchep Red Hawks Football Club and become a part of the local community.

The Yanchep Red Hawks are seeking to appoint multiple coaches for the 2022 season:

C4 Men’s League

C4 Men’s Reserves

C3 Women’s

The objectives of the Red Hawks Football Club are:

(A) to promote, develop, and administer the game of Australian football in Yanchep and surrounding areas;

(B) to educate, train, coach, and encourage members of the Club in the game of Australian football;

(C) to uphold the Constitution and By-laws of the Perth Football League;

(D) to encourage social and sporting relationships between members of the Club; and

(E) to support sporting, cultural, charitable, and other groups in their contributions to the community.

Role and Responsibilities

● Drive recruitment activities to build a squad of players capable of competing in the PFL Football Competition.

● Provide coaching expertise and leadership for the Yanchep Red Hawks football teams, including game day coaching.

● Prepare and implement an appropriate pre-season training and skills development program.

● Develop a game plan and training plan to suit the ability and competency of the playing group.

● Teach fundamental AFL skills to the team.

● Develop a culture of inclusiveness, fun, and growth.

● Actively promote the team in the local area and help build relationships with stakeholders, including identified schools and feeder organizations.

● Actively integrate the team into the broader club environment and community.

● Work closely with and collaboratively with the Junior Football Club’s teams and other youth coaches in the area to assist with junior player development. ● Liaise with the Team sub-committee and the Club’s President to recruit assistant coaches and other football staff, as required. Key Selection Criteria ● Level 1 accredited coach or willingness to undertake this course prior to the season.

● Demonstrated ability to coach and develop players in a leadership role.

● A positive and welcoming attitude.

● Commitment to attend all training sessions, matches, and (when requested) committee meetings.

● Demonstrated ability to plan training and game plans.

● Eligibility and Expectations completed prior to First game
